I've seen examples on this forum of WIN7/圆4 installations of Reaper working with the Lambda interface. The Lambda sites indicates that the current driver is WIN 7 圆4 compatible but I noticed that the Lambda drivers install in the Windows\system32 folder which makes me think that it is a 32 bit driver instead of a 64 bit driver. I noticed that the OS requirements for the 圆4 version of Reaper state that it requires 圆4 compatible drivers. I've uninstalled and re-installed Reaper a couple of times but this has not resolved the problem. The only way that I can get Reaper to close is to force a Windows shut down. I can't close Reaper through the Reaper menu system or through Windows Task Manager. Whatever is happening is consuming all of the PC's resources and I have only momentary access to other applications. Now as soon as I try to open a menu item Reaper locks up. At one point Reaper was giving me a message about problems with the ASIO buffer setting. When I launch Reaper it displays "offline" in all the track areas. The Lambda interface works fine with other programs such as iTunes. On WIN 7 圆4 I have installed the current Lambda driver (07/06/10) and the 圆4 version of Reaper. I've used Reaper with my Lexicon Lambda for a couple of years under XP without any problems. I have recently updated by machine from XP x32 to WIN 7 圆4.
